Honey Granola

 
Ingredients:
2 cups oats
cup of dried berries
cup  of rice krispy cereal
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup brown sugar
tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp water
3/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 egg white
 
 
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly spray a large rimmed cookie sheet or baking pan.
Place oats, berries and cereal in a large bowl.
In a medium bowl, combine honey, brown sugar, vanilla, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and baking soda, set aside. 
In a small bowl, beat egg white until stiff peaks begin to form.
Pour honey mixture over oats and stir a few times.  Add beaten egg white to oats bowl and fold until all ingredients are completely covered.  Spread granola in an even layer over baking sheet.  Bake for 10 minutes, remove from oven and stir to evenly bake all sides.  Return to oven and bake an additional 10 minutes or until granola begins to golden.  Remove from oven, granola will cool as it hardens.  Store in an airtight container.
