Slow Cooked Cider House
Pork Chops and Apples
Ingredients:
4-5 pork chops
1/2 Tbsp fresh sage
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper
1 granny smith apple (sliced and seeds removed)
1/2 white onion (sliced)
3/4 cup apple cider
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp brown sugar
Directions:
Salt and pepper both sides of pork chops and place in slow cooker. Mix sage and garlic powder and sprinkle over chops. Top with sliced apples and onions. In a small bowl, combine cider, vinegar and brown sugar; once sugar is dissolved, pour over chops. Cook on high 4-6 hours or on low 6-8 hours.
