Makeover Strawberry Pie
 
 
 
 
Banana-Graham Pretzel Shell
 graham crackers (approximately 3-4 full sleeves will work fine)
2/3 cup crushed pretzels
One large Banana (mashed)
1 Tbsp honey
 
Directions:  Preheat oven to 350 degrees; Crush graham crackers and pretzels  leaving some chunks to give the crust a crunchier texture; mix in mashed banana (mixture will be crumbly); place ball of crust on a lightly sprayed pie plate; evenly spread tablespoon of honey over crust; bake for approximately 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.  Let cool completely.
 
Pie Ingredients:
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
large box sugar-free strawberry jello
 
Directions:
Rinse, dry and remove stems from strawberries and place in pie shell whole, halved or cut (your choice).  Over medium heat, mix water, sugar, cornstarch and jello.  Stir continually until you reach a gentle boil.  Remove from heat and cool completely.  Pour over strawberries making sure to fill all crevasses.  Refrigerate 2-3 hours before serving.
