Nothing gets me going in the morning like a protein shake and this one is my absolute FAV!!!!  The protein is just the slow-burning fuel I need to keep me energized and satisfied so I don't crash mid-morning.  Plus the delicious flavor makes me feel like I'm treating myself before I've even started my day!!  The secret is in the cocoa powder which has become a close personal friend of mine. (Every girl should know cocoa powder.)  If you haven't gotten to know it, take a moment to introduce yourself through this shake!! I promise you will become fast friends too!!  




Brownie Batter Protein Shake Recipe


1 1/2 cups ice
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use "Body Fortress-Whey")
1 Tbsp cocoa powder (only 10 calories and chockful of antioxidants!!!)
2 packets of your favorite zero calorie sweetener (I prefer "Truvia")
8 oz skim milk( you can use skim chocolate milk for a creamier shake but it will increase the sugar content)
1/2 banana

Funky Monkey Protein Shake


 
 
1 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1/2 banana
1-2 Tbsp peanut butter or PB2 (my personal preference)
1/2 cup skim milk (chocolate or white)
sweetener to taste but most likely you won't need it

Strawberries and Cream Protein Shake


 
1 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 Tbsp sugar free strawberry jello powder
3 large strawberries
1 cup skim milk
stevia to taste


 

Tiramisu Protein Shake

1  1/2 cups ice
1 scoop protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
1-2 Tbsp instant coffee granules
1-2 Tbsp Torani sugar free Kahlua syrup
1/2 banana
zero calorie sweetener to taste (but you probably won't need it!)

Thin Mint Protein Shake

1  1/2 cups ice
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1/2 banana
8 oz chocolate skim milk
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 tsp mint extract
zero calorie sweetener to taste

Mochacino Protein Shake

1  1/2 cups ice
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
8 oz chocolate skim milk ( can sub white milk for lower sugar) 
1 Tbsp instant coffee granules
1/2 banana
zero calorie sweetener to taste

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Protein Shake

1  1/2 cups ice
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
8 oz chocolate skim milk
3-4 medium strawberries  (fresh or frozen)
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
zero calorie sweetener to taste

Caramel Apple Protein Shake



 1 1/2 cups ice

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1/2 cup canned apple pie filling (regular, sugar free, or caramel apple)

1 Tbsp sugar free torani caramel syrup

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 cup skim milk

stevia to taste




Pumpkin Caramel Protein Shake

 
 
1 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/3 cup canned pumpkin
1 Tbsp Sugar Free Torani Caramel syrup

1/2 cup skim milk




Sweet Samoan Protein Shake
1  1/2 cups ice
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
8 oz chocolate skim milk
1/2 banana
1 Tbsp Torani caramel sugar free syrup
 1/4 -1/2 tsp coconut extract

1 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup canned carrots (drained)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup skim milk
stevia to taste

3 large strawberries

1 Tbsp Sugar free cheesecake pudding powder

1 cup skim milk

1 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/3 cup of canned pumpkin
1/2 cup skim milk
sweetener to taste


French Toast Protein Shake
 

1 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp butter extract
1/2 banana
1/2 cup skim milk
sweetener to taste




Lean Mean Green Machine

1 heaping tsp sugar free instant pistachio pudding

large handful of kale

Hazelnut Mocha Shake

1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 heaping tsp instant coffee granules
1 Tbsp Sugar free Torani Hazelnut syrup

1/2 tsp cinnamon

2-3 Tbsp oats

1/2 cup skim milk
sweetener to taste

Coconut Cream Pie Protein Shake
 
 
1 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tsp coconut extract
2-3 Tbsp flaked coconut
1/2 banana
1/2 cup skim milk
sweetener to taste


Sweet Potato Shake and I Shut My Mouth!!!
 



1 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/3 cup mashed sweet potato
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp butter extract
1/2 cup skim milk
sweetener to taste
 
Banana Split Protein Shake
 


1 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 banana
3-4 large strawberries
1/4 cup pineapple (fresh or canned)
1/2 cup of skim milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
sweetener to taste
 
*top with sugar free chocolate syrup, chopped nuts, light whipped cream, and a cherry!*
 
 
Snickerdoodle Protein Shake
 


 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 banana
1/2 tsp butter extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 - 1 cup skim milk

                      1 scoop cookies and cream protein powder
                    1/2 banana
                 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
               1/2 tsp butter extract
               1 cup skim milk
               sweetener to taste
 


The "Tagalong" Protein Shake
 
 
 
1 1/2 cups of ice
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1/2 banana
1-2 Tbsp peanut butter or PB2 (my personal preference)

1 cup skim milk (chocolate or white)

Chocolate Zucchini Shake

 
 
 
1 1/2 cups ice
