Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 onion, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced and diced
1/4 cup hoison sauce
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 Tbsp freshly grated ginger
1tsp sriracha
1 small can water chestnuts, drained and diced
2 green onions, sliced
Lettuce leaves (butter or romaine)
Directions:
1.). Brown ground turkey in a pan, add in garlic, onion, celery and mushrooms during last 5 minutes of cooking and cook until veggies are tender
2.) In a small bowl, combine hoison, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger and sriracha.
3.) Add sauce and water chestnuts to meat mixture and heat fully.
4.). Spoon meat mixture into lettuce leaves and top with green onions.
* serve with a sweet chili or sweet and sour sauce*
